Trends came thick and fast as the spotlight was on Menswear in Paris and Milan. The two fashion events brought some fun to menswear that will be hitting the racks in Summer 2012. Let’s take a closer look.
John Richmond @ Milan Fashion Week. The crisper the white the better. Shorts had a more relaxed fit and feel of cool casual.
Franke Morello @ Milan Fashion Week. Blue is the boyish colour of them all and this summer use it for a bold effect.
Frankie Morello @ Milan Fashion Week. Three layers of blue is taking this this colour to a new level. Just make sure they are different shades and throw in a stripe for maximum impact.
Yves Saint Laurent @ Paris Fashion Week. Golden Tan is the new colour of season and it might just look better than brown in Autumn.
Versace @ Paris Fashion Week. Golden Tan meets harsh leather – only Versace would put this look together.
Ermenegildo Zegna @ Milan Fashion Week. Golden Tan continues to be seen on the catwalk in its many different shades. A new kind of bag has emerged and is a larger version of the statchel with long leather straps and a soft leather finish.
Costume National @ Milan Fashion Week. For a loud burst of colour choose a shade of orange that could blind. Spiced Orange was the fresh colour seen on the catwalk. Mix it into your wardrobe for a toned down feel or don’t hold back and wear only the one colour for the complete look.
Dolce & Gabbana @ Milan Fashion Week. Topless is one summer trend that will never go out of fashion. But if looking for a pair of pants, Dolce and Gabbana have the relaxed look sorted – perfect for those long balmy nights by the pool.
Versace @ Milan Fashion Week. If the weather is hot then so should be your swimwear. Versace turned up the head with hot pink swimwear that is sure to turn heads on the beach this summer – while attracting attention to your best assets.
