Modelling style from Clemente Talarico

The coolness of winter is here, so thought it perfect timing to showcase a few key pieces from one of my favourite Melbourne labels. The label is Clemente Talarico and I rocked into their Chapel Street store with my photographer and we took some snaps. I like how this brand is all about layering garments to create a contrasting look, rich with colour and texture. I’ve never thought to layer a shirt over another shirt, but was introduced to this on the day. The first shirt was denim and buttoned all the way to the top. A check shirt was then worn over the top and left half unbuttoned. This created an extra layer of warmth but the blend of the two fabrics gave a unique sense of style. My favourite piece had to be the Lodge Jacket in Mulberry. As it’s a colour I wouldn’t normally select, but that’s what I love about fashion, as you never know if it works for you, till you throw it on and strike that pose in front of the mirror.

Massive thanks to CAPELLI da GG Hair Spa & Salon for styling my hair and Daniel from DMB Photography for taking the snaps.
