Hello red wine heaven matched with the finest Victorian produce!
Event: Roda en camino al El Commoner (Roda and the Road to The Commoner). Deluxe Rioja wine producer, Bodegas Roda comes to The Commoner in celebration of this year’s Melbourne Food and Wine Festival theme: ‘Earth’.
The Commoner Restaurant held two lunches on 9, 10 March, in a multi-course feast with red wines to match. It was also extremely informative as during the lunch the wines were explained by one of Bodegas Roda’s winemakers Arancha who was visiting from Spain. The Spanish Acquisition owner Scott a specialist importer of Spanish wine who is based in Melbourne, also shared his passion for wine throughout the event.
